I had most of NJ and NY sat imagery from ortho4xp but I didnt even have a copy of that anymore. with some frustration I came across ortho4xp links to the google drive from "oscar pilote" but there is no longer a .exe or bin file in the github repository. the Downloading Dropbox Your Dropbox download should automatically start within seconds. I am having similar problems with step 2.5 i.e masks. I use the latest version and the progress bar just won't move. I did tweak the mask settings by putting mode as 3 steps and putting the other values as true.

The latest releases of OrthoXP (as of the date of the original post) do not need installing Python anymore. OrthoXP is used to create photorealistic scenery (satellite photos), while HD mesh is a higher definition terrain mesh, but uses default X-Plane textures based on some sort of landclass (similar to FSX default scenery). This morning I downloaded and for the first time used the new Ortho4XP 1.3 (download links are in Oscar Pilote’s signature line here).It has several improvements over version 1.2, one of which is smoothing that allows you to have sloped (and not flattened)) airport runways.
